Amazon’s Prime Day is in full swing in the UK, Europe, and the US and we’ve collected some worthy laptop deals from Stateside.
Starting with Asus, for the same price you could have either the excellent 16-inch creator laptop VivoBook Pro 16 with an RTX 4060 or the dual-screened ZenBook Pro Duo 15 with two OLED displays.
MSI’s gaming choices include the Thin GF63 with a 15.6-inch 144Hz display and RTX 4050 graphics, and the 17.3-inch 240Hz-capable Stealth 17 Studio with the latest Intel 13th gen Core i9 processor and RTX4080 graphics from Nvidia.
Acer has two really affordable choices for gamers – the Nitro 5 and Swift X, both with an RTX 3050 – Ti on the 14-inch Swift X, and regular on the 15.6-inch 144Hz Nitro 5.
Samsung and LG have enticing models in the thin and light range. Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 and Book3 Pro are both OLED and pack 13th gen Intel processors, while the LG gram 16 and gram 17 are both very light, and feature-packed. The Galaxy Book3 stands out the most here with a sub-$800 price tag for an OLED screen and the latest Intel processor.
Finally an entry-level gamer from Lenovo – the IdeaPad Gaming 3 packs a 120Hz 15.6-inch display, and RTX 3050 graphics for $600.
Apple is especially stingy in the US during Prime Day. Cupertino doesn’t partake in Amazon’s Prime Day deals but there could’ve been at least some reasonable discount on recent MacBooks. But there isn’t – Apple wants you to go over and buy its laptops from its website.
